Straight Ahead has been in existence since 1987, when the first Bible study took place in a juvenile detention facility in Westboro, MA. Since that time the ministry has expanded and grown throughout the state, around the country, and overseas. As the MA State Coordinator, I have the joy of overseeing 120 volunteers who bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to incarcerated youth each week. Our ministry is mostly volunteer led; and we couldn’t be near as effective without them. In an attempt to give the breadth of Straight Ahead’s institutional ministry, I’ve made a list of all of the youth facilities that host Straight Ahead staff and volunteer ministries:
